This was not my first time visiting Tokyo, but certainly my first visit as an adult, which meant that I spent a lot of time drinking with the other people in the hostel or what was called a capsule hotel. Which it really wasn’t, because it was for foreign tourists, not for inebriated salarymen.
As such, my memory of Tokyo is the least well-defined among the major cities I visited during this trip, but there is photo evidence that I stayed in Asakusa and ventured to Ginza, City Hall and Akihabara.
